Collegiate Plant Initiative to Host Virtual Career Event
The Collegiate Plant Initiative, based at the University of Florida, will host a virtual career event Oct. 19-23, for students from any university and major who are interested in internships or employment in the plant, produce, floral, and allied industries.
The Collegiate Plant Initiative is seeking companies, organizations, and labs who are interested in hiring students or recent graduates in 2021 or 2022. Potential employers will be able to meet these students through their virtual student profiles (asynchronous) and information sessions (synchronous). Participation is free for both students and potential employers.
Interested students or companies can visit the CPI interest form to learn more and to RSVP:
https://ufl.qualtrics.
To reserve an information session time slot, please respond by Oct. 9 at 11:59 PM. To access student profiles and contact information, please respond by Oct. 16 at 11:59 PM.
Information session time slots are first-come, first-served (excluding those who have donated previously or those who contribute to this event) and earlier responses are greatly appreciated.
Those who have donated or will donate to UF’s Environmental Horticulture department to support the initiative will have preferred choice in the case of time conflicts that arise before the deadline.
Any questions can be sent to Virginia Frazier at vfrazier@ufl.edu.
