Deadline Approaching for NGB ‘Year of’ Video Contest

The deadline for National Garden Bureau’s (NGB) first-ever video contest, featuring #SNAPDRAGONLOVE is rapidly approaching.

The #SNAPDRAGONLOVE video contest kicked off in February and the deadline for submissions is now less than two weeks away — May 15, 2019.

For more than 30 years, NGB  has been showcasing and promoting their member’s products in the inspirational program called “Year of.”

Over the years, the program has steadily expanded and now, for the first time ever, a “Year of” Video Contest — 2019 is the Year of the Snapdragon!

Sponsored by National Garden Bureau and their members, the contest is designed to inspire creative videos from anyone and everyone (growers, retailers, consumers…anyone!) who loves snapdragons, both cut flowers and bedding/potted/landscape varieties.

The grand prize is $500 along with two $100 runner-up prizes.

Submissions should be 30-60 second videos that may be skits, animation, testimonials, or other types of videos, as long as they feature and promote snapdragons.

The top video finalists chosen by a selection committee will be eligible for the $500 grand prize and two honorable mentions of $100 each. The contest submissions can occur anytime up until May 15, 2019. The official winners will be announced in June.

The finalists and winner will be announced in June.
