DryGair unveils climate tools for greenhouse growers

DryGair has introduced two new climate control tools aimed at helping greenhouse growers reduce energy use and improve growing conditions. The compact DG-3 dehumidifier and a new defrost coil add-on for DG-12 and DG-6 units will be featured at GreenTech Amsterdam 2025, held June 10–12 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center.

The DG-3 is designed for greenhouses with limited space, offering efficient moisture removal—up to 11 liters per hour—while using just 2.3 kW of power. The unit’s patented air circulation system promotes even climate control, which supports healthier plants and consistent yields.

The defrost coil add-on allows DryGair’s larger models to operate in temperatures as low as 6°C (43°F). This feature addresses a common challenge for growers in colder climates or those cultivating cold-tolerant crops by preventing ice buildup and maintaining energy efficiency.

“Dehumidification should enhance growing opportunities while reducing costs and environmental impact,” said chief executive officer Tal Netzer. “Our innovations continue to reflect DryGair’s commitment to sustainable greenhouse practices.”

DryGair will present the DG-3 and defrost coil at Booth 01.155 during GreenTech Amsterdam. Attendees can also participate in small-group DryGair Experience sessions, held twice daily, to learn about optimizing energy use and crop quality. Each session is limited to eight participants and includes Q&As with climate control experts.

Greenhouse growers attending the show will have the opportunity to explore new tools, connect with industry peers and gain insights into sustainable cultivation.
