Endless Summer hydrangeas celebrates 20 years with community plantings

Horticulture professionals nationwide marked the 20th anniversary of Endless Summer hydrangeas with community-focused planting events. Volunteers from nurseries, including Acorn Farms, Bailey Nurseries, Baucom’s Nursery, Clinton Nurseries, Cottage Gardens, Home Nursery, Midwest Groundcovers and 3 Rivers Nursery, installed hydrangeas in over a dozen locations.

“Our tagline, ‘Experience Life in Full Bloom,’ is more than just words,” said Layci Gragnani, brand and business development manager at Bailey Nurseries. “Community plantings let everyone experience the beauty of our hydrangeas.”

Cisne High School in Illinois received a standout award for embodying the #LifeInFullBloom spirit. The $2,500 prize celebrated the dedication of 27 volunteers who installed a vibrant landscape featuring ‘Endless Summer Pop Star ‘ hydrangeas paired with plants in the school’s colors. The project included hands-on learning for students and a horticulture industry presentation.

Sales manager Hilliary Metzger of Home Nursery emphasized the significance of the project: “Not only was the horticulture class able to complete a hands-on project, but they also learned about the industry’s opportunities.”

The anniversary initiative highlighted horticulture’s community-building power and inspired future generations of growers.
