Envu has rebranded its Aliette WDG fungicide as Teclera fungicide, with the product now available for purchase nationwide. The change is limited to the product name, while the formulation remains the same.

The fungicide, originally introduced by Bayer before Envu was established, is designed for ornamental growers. According to the company, Teclera is a fully systemic fungicide that provides protection against downy mildew, Phytophthora and Pythium. It also controls fire blight and suppresses certain pathovars of Xanthomonas campestris. Envu said the product has more than 30 years of historical use with no documented cases of resistance.

“Teclera is building on the legacy of Aliette with the same formulation, same industry-leading results, just with a new name and now available for purchase,” Pete Farno, ornamentals business director at Envu, said.

Teclera joins Envu’s ornamental fungicide portfolio, which also includes Broadform, Banol, Chipco 26019 FLO, Compass 50 WG, Fame SC, Rhapsody, Terrazole 35WP and Terrazole L.

The company said Teclera fungicide is available for purchase across the United States through Envu representatives.
