Floriexpo 2026 attendance up 15%
Floriexpo 2026 reported 20% show floor growth and a 15% attendance increase at its Fort Lauderdale event.
Floriexpo 2026 reported a 20% larger show floor and 15% higher attendance as mass-market floral buyers and suppliers gathered at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The event brought together floral industry categories across the show floor, with organizers citing increased demand from suppliers and mass-market buyers. Buying teams and category managers from grocery, box store and mass-merchandise retail banners attended the event.
Before the exhibit hall opened, the pre-show Floral Bootcamp sold out. The education program, moderated by Michael Schrader and opened by Bob Callahan, Floriexpo CEO, focused on operational efficiency, consumer psychology and the emotional role flowers play for shoppers.
The event also included a Flower Naming Ceremony honoring Lisa Letch of Shaw’s and Star Market, a 38-year industry veteran. A new hot pink alstroemeria was named ‘Firestorm’ in her honor.
“Lisa Letch is an exceptional leader, a game changer, and a true force in this industry,” said Michael Adiletto of The Queen’s Bouquet Network.
Exhibitors also reported interest from supermarket floral buyers in sustainable packaging, trend-forward bouquet programs and ready-to-display concepts designed to reduce store-level labor needs.
