Glenn Goldsmith Memorial to Take Place at CAST
A memorial for Glenn Goldsmith, the founder of Goldsmith Seeds, will take place April 3 from 3 until 6 p.m. at the Syngenta Flowers facility in Gilroy, California.
The Goldsmith Family would like to invite colleagues and and friends to join them as they remember and celebrate the tremendous life that Glenn lived.
The memorial will take place on the last afternoon of the California Spring Trials. This location is the former headquarters of Goldsmith Seeds and it is where Glenn felt most at home, breeding and showing new varieties of flowers.
Goldsmith passed away last December at the age of 93.
Glenn was an industry icon who founded Goldsmith Seeds along with his wife, Jane, in Gilroy, California, back in 1962. Throughout his career, Glenn was recognized as an innovator who developed cutting edge genetics and is credited with creating Pack Trials, the precursor to California Spring Trials (CAST).
Food and beverages will be provided and carpooling is recommended due to limited parking.
