Harrells adds Chad Keel to horticulture team

Harrell’s has hired Chad Keel to support its horticulture division, expanding service to nursery and greenhouse growers nationwide.
Keel brings experience in horticultural growing media and controlled-release fertilizer technologies. In his new role, he will work with the company’s horticulture team across the United States, focusing on growth of POLYON controlled-release fertilizers in the horticulture market.
“Chad’s experience and industry insight make him a valuable addition to our team,” said Scott Martiniere, vice president of sales for horticulture and specialty agriculture at Harrell’s. “He will play a key role in expanding POLYON fertilizer sales and working closely with our team and customers to ensure long-term success in the horticulture segment.”
Harrell’s is the exclusive U.S. owner, formulator and distributor of POLYON branded products. The company also distributes fungicides, herbicides and insecticides and produces custom-blended fertilizers, specialty liquids and wetting agents.
For greenhouse and nursery growers, controlled-release fertilizers are used to manage nutrient delivery, improve crop uniformity and reduce labor associated with liquid feeding programs. Harrell’s said the hire reflects continued investment in its horticulture division as it looks toward 2026.
