Heims to Speak at Cultivate’14Source: Terra Nova Nurseries

Terra Nova Nurseries’ Dan Heims, will be present three seminars during Cultivate ’14, July 12 to 15, 2014, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

On July 12, at 1:00 p.m., Heims will speak on “New Perennials from Around the World.” He will discuss the horticulture industries of international countries, the shakers and movers of each country, and some of their favorite plants, with a special focus on hardy perennials and exceptional “temperennials.”

Heims will present “Right Plant, Right Place Garden Solutions for Problem Areas” on July 12, at 4:00 p.m. This talk will focus on useful solutions for common garden spaces and helping plants thrive, drawn from his life and professional experiences.

On July 13 at 10:30 a.m., he will discuss “Container Crazy and Small Space Gardening,” which will highlight ideas on how to create beautiful container combinations and provide tips on how to design breath-taking, small-space gardens of various types.
