Hort Americas has entered a strategic partnership with Belgium-based Hortiplan to bring mobile gully systems (MGS) for leafy greens and herbs to controlled environment agriculture operations across North America.

The agreement enables Hort Americas to provide localized sales, technical support and after-sales service for Hortiplan’s MGS technology in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The systems are designed to automate production, optimize space and reduce manual labor for commercial greenhouse growers.

“We are excited to bring Hortiplan’s proven Mobile Gully Technology, support and services to our clients,” said Chris Higgins, president of Hort Americas. “This partnership allows us to offer commercial growers the tools they need to increase labor efficiency, optimize crop quality and scale their production sustainably.”

Hortiplan has been designing and servicing mobile gully systems for more than 30 years and is expanding its presence beyond Europe through this collaboration.

The mobile gully systems are known for their clean design and efficiency, allowing growers to increase output of leafy greens with minimal handling. The partnership aims to provide North American growers with scalable, sustainable production solutions.

Hort Americas plans to build its support capabilities over time, offering system integration consulting, training and customer service for both new and retrofit greenhouse projects.
