Indoor Ag-Con 2025 highlights innovation in CEA

Indoor Ag-Con 2025 wrapped its 12th annual conference and expo March 11-12 at the Westgate Las Vegas, drawing 1,657 attendees from across the globe.

The event hosted the largest expo floor in its history, featuring more than 300 booths showcasing technologies aimed at helping CEA operators improve profitability and scalability.

“At its core, Indoor Ag-Con is about fostering collaboration, idea-sharing and networking — and this year’s event truly delivered,” said Brian Sullivan, CEO of Indoor Ag-Con.

Highlights included the inaugural Cultivating Excellence Awards, recognizing innovation and leadership. Winners were Little Leaf Farms for operational excellence, 80 Acres Farms for good stewardship and Dramm for product innovation.

Industry associations deepened their engagement, with groups like the CEA Alliance hosting meetings and GLASE presenting its Vivid Canopy panel. The International Sprout Growers Association held its 33rd annual convention alongside the event.

Keynotes addressed industry trends, featuring leaders from 80 Acres Farms, NatureSweet and BrightFarms. Canadian CEA leaders shared insights on sustainability and business growth during the second-day keynote.

Educational programming featured more than 90 speakers across five tracks, including technical grower practices and cannabis cultivation. Pre-event workshops on food safety and expo theater sessions on education and vertical farming trends also drew strong participation.

Networking events, including a VIP Welcome Party sponsored by Philips Horticulture LED Solutions, offered attendees more opportunities to connect.
