Kathy Jentz elected president of GardenComm

Kathy Jentz has been elected president of GardenComm: Garden Communicators International, beginning her two-year term for 2026-2028.

A long-time member and dedicated volunteer, Jentz has served in numerous leadership roles within the organization, including on the Marketing and Education Committees, as a regional director, and as leader of the Power Circles peer program. She is also a frequent presenter at GardenComm’s annual conferences.

Jentz becomes the 44th president in GardenComm’s 78-year history, continuing a legacy of leadership that has shaped how the public connects with plants, horticulture and the green industry.

“GardenComm has been instrumental in my career and success in the green industry,” said Jentz. “I’m excited to expand our reach and elevate the voices of garden communicators who inform and influence the public’s understanding of gardening, sustainability and the natural world.”
