McHutchison hires new sales rep for Midwest growers

McHutchison has named Blair Gabalis as its new sales representative for Michigan and Wisconsin, expanding the company’s presence in the Midwest horticulture market.

Gabalis joins the horticultural distributor with experience in customer-focused sales and leadership roles at companies including Uber Eats and Packback. In her new role, she will work directly with greenhouse growers to provide personalized service and product recommendations tailored to regional needs.

“Blair’s passion for relationship-building and proven ability to grow sales through smart, strategic engagement makes her a perfect fit for our team,” said Ken Turrentine, president of McHutchison.

Gabalis will support McHutchison’s horticultural distribution services, which include a wide range of plant materials and supplies—from tissue culture and unrooted cuttings to finished annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. The company’s virtual store also allows customers to access materials online.

McHutchison serves greenhouse and nursery growers throughout North America with a focus on quality, dependability and tailored support. Gabalis is expected to contribute to the company’s ongoing commitment to helping growers navigate changing market demands through strategic partnerships and localized service.
