Penn State to Host Hemp Research Field Walk
Growers will have an opportunity to tour the Penn State industrial hemp trials during the Hemp Research Field Walk on Thursday, Sept. 16. The focus of the evening will be on CBD industrial hemp, highlighting trials of autoflower and photosensitive varieties.
During the tour at the Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Center, attendees will be able to discuss the state of hemp in the Commonwealth and region, visit with local industry members, and see the performance of multiple CBD hemp varieties. Walk together with specialists, educators, and policymakers to raise questions and share your ideas about the future of the industry.
