Profile Products names Gladys Opiyo sales director

Profile Products has promoted Gladys Opiyo to director of sales, North American growers, for its Growing Solutions team.

In her new role, Opiyo will oversee the company’s grower division sales team, working with greenhouse and nursery customers across the continent.

“Anyone who has worked with Gladys knows she is a strategic thinker, collaborative leader and incredibly hard worker,” said Brian Patterson, vice president of sales. “Her ability to connect with customers and coach our team members has made a lasting impact.”

Opiyo joined Profile in 2017 as a product representative and has held several management positions. She has more than 15 years of experience in the horticulture industry and has worked closely with regional sales managers and strategic accounts. She also contributed to product trials for HydraFiber, the company’s wood fiber substrate.

“Gladys’s commitment to both people and plants makes her the ideal leader for this role,” said Wes Martin, vice president of horticulture.
