Profile Products names new CEO

Profile Products appointed Michael Ranchino as CEO and a member of its board of directors, effective immediately, following a leadership search.

Ranchino joined the company in 2021 as chief financial officer and has been involved in advancing operational performance and strategic initiatives. In his new role, he will oversee growth strategy, operations and continued development of specialty agriscience materials used across horticulture, greenhouse production and related markets.

The company, based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, develops materials focused on water and soil management, plant establishment and sustainability. These products are used by greenhouse growers and horticulture professionals to support crop production and environmental performance.

Ranchino brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, including previous roles in finance and operations at large organizations such as US Foods.
