Purdue University Survey Seeks Input From Midwestern Hemp Growers

With the help of the USDA’s Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative (OREI), a research team at Purdue University is inviting hemp growers to participate in a study of growers to better understand their potential interest in hemp production and marketing challenges. In order to participate in this study, you need to be a producer/farmer/grower.

This survey will help researchers develop Extension information for growers by identifying future hemp marketing and production research needs to help support growers.

The questionnaire is easy and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Responses to survey questions are strictly confidential in that nothing respondents say will be attributed directly to them for reporting purposes. The privacy of respondents will be maintained in all published and written data resulting from the study. The research team will not use names or email addresses for any non-research purposes, and information is gathered and stored on a secure technology platform, which will automatically send three follow-up reminders to non-responders. Growers have the right to discontinue the survey at any time and to refuse to answer specific questions.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Dr. Maria Marshall at (765) 494-4268, or email her at mimarsha@purdue.edu.
