Quality Cuttings expands offerings with Westhoff petunias

Quality Cuttings Team (QCT) recently announced it is expanding its petunia offerings with a selection of Westhoff varieties.

Petunias remain a staple in ornamental horticulture, prized for their vibrant blooms and versatility across garden beds, containers and hanging baskets. However, recent production inconsistencies and fulfillment delays from other suppliers have limited some growers’ sources.

“Our customers have been clear — they need dependable access to petunia cuttings, and they need it now,” said Jaqueline Abill, Quality Cuttings CEO. “We’re stepping up to meet that need with consistent quality, timely delivery and the same hands-on care that defines our entire product line.”

The new offerings include a selection of popular Westhoff petunia varieties, available for immediate order. Abill said it will focus on the top 25 sellers in the Crazytunia line including topseller ‘Moonstruck’ (shown above). She also said they will carry petunia ‘Pink Cloud’, a popular featured introduction that debuted at CAST’25.

The Quality Cuttings team aims to fill the gap left by larger suppliers facing production setbacks. It will partner with Floraplant, which has been producing petunias for the Mexican market for years.

“Floraplant has a history of maintaining high quality, clean stock via a team of dedicated and talented growers with almost 60 years of combined production experience,” Abill said. “We are extremely confident in partnering with Floraplant on our petunia program due to their commitment to high standards of production quality, including stringent sanitary protocols.”

Besides petunias, QCT are also adding the topsellers of Westhoff’s Calitastic calibrachoa line. This addition will enhance their overall Calibrachoa offerings of the Caliloco and Candy Shop lines.
