San Diego Association Announces Icon Award Winner
The San Diego County Flower & Plant Association (SDCF&PA) has named Rene van Rems as the recipient of its prestigious 2019 Industry Icon Award.
He is being recognized for his exemplary accomplishments and contributions to the horticulture industry. van Rems is an internationally acclaimed floral designer and a lifelong supporter of the SDCF&PA.
The award will be presented at the SDCF&PA’s annual dinner on June 27.
Throughout his career, van Rems has been an avid supporter of the industry on a regional, national and international level. He is a well-known speaker at industry events and has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs.
He also is the recipient of several industry awards and distinctions.
