Sormac to showcase produce machinery at fall trade shows

Sormac will present its latest produce processing machinery at Pack Expo in Las Vegas from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2025, and at Fruit Attraction in Madrid from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, 2025.

The company will demonstrate two machines designed for efficiency and consistency in fruit and vegetable processing. The BSM Belt Slicer operates at 1,500 RPM and can cut herbs and vegetables into straight, cross, julienne, grated or crinkle slices. With capacity of up to 34 cubic meters per hour, it offers nearly three times the output of similar slicers.

Also on display will be the FS-3600 MultiSystem, a semi-automatic cutter that slices fruits and vegetables into wedges, slices or sticks. The system includes a Smart HMI that provides real-time alerts, tracks production and enables fast recipe changes. It can process up to 4,000 pieces per hour.

“At Sormac, we’re passionate about helping our customers process fresh produce more efficiently without sacrificing quality,” said Roy Lemmen, commercial director at Sormac. “Both the BSM Belt Slicer and FS-3600 MultiSystem represent major steps forward in fresh-cut produce processing performance and digitalization, and we’re excited to show them in action at Pack Expo and Fruit Attraction.”

In addition, Sormac will display three other machines at Pack Expo: the UP-4000 Knife Peeler for carrots and cucumbers, the MC-44/Vario Basket Centrifuge and the MP-400 Melon Peeler.
