Source.ag partners with Axia to boost efficiency

Source.ag has announced a new partnership with Axia Vegetable Seeds to enhance greenhouse operational efficiency through artificial intelligence. Axia will integrate Source.ag’s AI-driven tools into its Demo Greenhouse to improve data analysis and support breeding trials.

Axia, a company known for high-yield vegetable hybrids, aims to use the technology to digitize and visualize critical data. This move is expected to help the team better support growers in maximizing crop performance.

“With a shared vision of continuous innovation, this partnership supports Axia Vegetable Seeds’ internal Demo by enabling high-quality data analysis,” said Cees Maan, cultivation coordinator of the Demo Greenhouse. “By digitizing and visualizing crucial data, Source.ag helps Axia Vegetable Seeds support and advise growers to maximize the yield of our varieties.”

Source.ag’s AI solutions are designed to simulate greenhouse conditions and plant growth strategies, helping growers make informed decisions while minimizing risk. Its tools are used in over 300 commercial greenhouses spanning 1,800 hectares across 19 countries.

Growers using Source.ag’s technology can create virtual replicas of their operations to test thousands of potential growing strategies. This data-driven approach allows for improved yield outcomes and more efficient use of resources, key considerations for greenhouse operators navigating labor and sustainability challenges.
