Source.ag launches new AI tools for growers
Source.ag has launched three new AI-driven product tiers aimed at making advanced data tools more accessible for greenhouse vegetable growers.
The new tools — Source Workspace, Harvest Forecast and Cultivation Management — are designed to support daily decision-making, streamline operations and improve profitability.
Source Workspace consolidates data from multiple systems into a single platform, giving growers real-time visibility into key cultivation metrics. The centralized data structure supports collaboration and prepares operations for broader AI integration.
Harvest Forecast provides daily yield predictions up to eight weeks in advance. By improving forecasting accuracy, growers can reduce waste, lower labor and logistics costs, and secure more stable, pre-arranged sales contracts.
Cultivation Management enables growers to simulate crop strategies based on variables like temperature and stem density. This allows growers to evaluate outcomes without taking physical risks, supporting more informed decisions on plant health and yield.
“The three new product tiers represent Source.ag’s commitment to supporting growers through innovation and technology,” said co-founder and CEO Rien Kamman.
These tools are part of Source.ag’s larger suite, which includes features like irrigation control and a cloud-based system for data integration with platforms such as Power BI.
More than 300 greenhouses across 19 countries currently use Source.ag’s AI tools, helping to produce vegetables for over 60 million people. Clients include Agro Care, Thanet Earth and Grupa Mularski.
Source.ag partners with organizations including Bayer, Priva and the World Horti Center.
