Southern University To Host 2021 Cannabis Symposium In July
The Southern University Ag Center and the Southern University Law Center have partnered to host the 2021 Cannabis Symposium. The in-person event will be held July 29 – 31, 2021 at the Law Center and on the Heart Farm located on the campus of the Southern University Ag Center.
Topics covered during the symposium will include the State of Louisiana’s Medical Marijuana Program, the Business of Growing Medical Marijuana, Cannabis and the Endocannabinoid System, Southern University’s Cannabis Research Initiatives, Equity and Justice, the State of Louisiana’s Hemp Program, International Cannabis Law, Cannabis Pharmacology, and a Roundtable discussion of Hemp Growers.
There will also be a Hemp Growing 101 session which will provide participants with hands-on training.
The symposium is open to students, the general public, and attorney’s seeking CLE credit with the following fees: $15, $40, and $100, respectively.
There will be an additional $75 fee for the Hemp Growing 101 sessions.
