Terra Nova Nurseries earns top honors at plant trials

Terra Nova Nurseries garnered numerous awards at the 2024 Penn State Flower Trials, Aris Trial Gardens and University of Georgia (UGA) Trial Gardens.

At Penn State, Terra Nova received 27 awards, including eight Best of Show and 12 Best of Species distinctions. Top-performing varieties included echinacea ‘PRIMA Lime’, echinacea ‘SUNDIAL Zenith’ and geum ‘TEMPO Coral’, each earning perfect scores.

Additionally, heuchera ‘FOREVER Midnight’ and ‘Changeling’ received top honors for their versatility in both sun and shade conditions.

The company also excelled at the Aris Trials with echinacea ‘PRIMA Berry’ earning Top Performer status and at the UGA Trials, where heuchera ‘Peach Smoothie’ won the Plants of Distinction award for its shade tolerance.
