The Hemp Mine Forms Cannabis Research Coalition

The Hemp Mine LLC., an industry leader in cannabis genetics and production, has partnered with Clemson University’s Flowering Physiology Laboratory to form the Cannabis Research Coalition (CRC), a professional group dedicated to cannabis research. Led by The Hemp Mine’s Allison Justice and Clemson’s Jim Faust, the coalition will address the cultivation and postharvest issues facing today’s businesses.

The Cannabis Research Council’s mission is to partner with cannabis industry stakeholders to advance the exploration of the cannabis plant and implement science-based research to develop techniques for sustainability, efficiency and profitability.

The coalition will combine the resources of many individuals and businesses to support research that provides practical answers to the questions that limit success as an industry. Annual memberships are available for vendors, cannabis businesses, universities, researchers, educators and students.
