TPIE attracted nearly 7,500 professionals in 2026
The Tropical Plant International Expo (TPIE) attracted almost 7,500 nursery and landscape industry professionals from more than 40 countries, 46 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
Held at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, the show served as a global event for the foliage, floral and tropical plant industry.
TPIE delivered a mix of education, networking and a trade show floor with 470 exhibitors.
Produced by FNGLA, TPIE provides buyers with a centralized platform to explore wholesale offerings, engage with industry leaders, and initiate purchase orders.

The opening session, “Cultivating Connection by Watering Our Weirdness: Discovering What Truly Connects People & Products,” set the tone for TPIE 2026 by challenging attendees to rethink how they connect with today’s consumers. The session, led by fashion psychologist and lifestyle futurist Jill Hawkins, explored how embracing emotional quirks and creative potential can strengthen relationships, build authentic brand influence and drive deeper engagement.
FNGLA gave awards to exhibitors for a variety of categories, including trending plants and products, exemplary booths and “cool” products.
TPIE 2027 is scheduled to return to the Broward County Convention Center on Jan. 20 to 22.
