Quality Coachworks, Ontario, Calif., offers the custom security delivery vehicle, using the Ford Transit, to revolutionize cannabis transport by increasing safety and efficiency.

The base Ford Transit body turns out to be a fantastic shell for a secure delivery vehicle. Once finished, a steel divider wall separates the cab from the trunk, which holds multiple lockers for product. Carbon-steel lockers house up to 21 different compartments that must be unlocked with a digital passcode.

24-hour interior/exterior camera surveillance system surrounds the car. These four cameras maintain watch and cover all of the necessary angles to protect the vehicle (one in the cab, two in the rear, and one overseeing the back door). This camera system transmits out so you are able to watch live footage from any location at any time. All footage is also saved in a data card hidden in the back of the vehicle to keep an on-hand record that can be accessed after usage.

A climate and humidity control system protects all cargo in the rear of the car, and allows the user to set it to the exact setting the delivery needs. Double insulation and 10-gauge steel line the rear cabin to maintain temperature and protect precious merchandise. Intellitrace GPS system built into the car allows for tracking of the vehicle from anywhere and the ability to kill the engine in case of theft.

Interior LED lighting keeps the back storage area lit and allows optimal workflow at night or in dark areas. Rear doors to the vehicle have an additional security lock to prevent break-ins. Protective door stopper hinges align the back door to keep the doors safe and to prevent damage to the Ford Transit.
