EDIBLES: Sweet Truffle Symphony

Coda Signature, Denver, debuts its cannabis-infused chocolate edibles, offered initially through 13 Colorado-based retail marijuana companies that own 29 recreational dispensaries.

The Crescendo Collection includes two each of Juniper Lemon, Earl Grey, and Burnt Carmel Truffles. The Forté collection includes two each of Hazelnut, Passion Fruit Szechuan, and Tiramisu truffles. Each piece is infused with 10mg of THC.

Coda Signature is also featuring two varieties of Hot Chocolate on a spoon. Each has 10 milligrams of THC in a single serving package.

Coda Signature has built a first-class commercial kitchen in their 30,000 ft² facility located in Trinidad, Colo. The kitchen’s design ensures consistency, safety, and quality in all their products while allowing for future growth into CO² extraction and cannabis cultivation.

Lauren Gockley, head chocolatier for Coda Signature, studied at the Valrhona Chocolate Company and is recognized as one of Dessert Professional’s Top 10 Chocolatiers in North America.

“Each piece of chocolate starts with ethically sourced cacao, whole spices, and the freshest ingredients,” she says “imparting deep and intense flavors that blend perfectly with our cannabis oil. “

“Our plan is to have a tightly controlled rollout for our retail partners to ensure excellence and steadfast reliability to meet consumer demand,” said Mark Grindeland, co-founder and CEO of Coda Signature. “We know that retailers are selective in choosing infused edible manufacturers, so our focus is to deliver an exceptional experience for them and their customers every time. We plan to be available in 250+ retail stores by the end of the year.”
