MSU’s College of Knowledge Program Slated for NovemberSource: MSU

The clock is ticking. Grower’s interested in expanding their technical knowledge and skills through Michigan State University’s innovative Floriculture College of Knowledge Certificate program are encouraged to register before Oct. 24, 2007.

The College of Knowledge has also announced its final delivery offerings. Eight courses in Tracks I and III will be delivered Nov. 6-7, 2007 at the Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo in Lansing, Mich. Courses in Track II are tentatively scheduled to be offered at the 2008 Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo in November 2008.

This is the last opportunity for growers to take courses in Track I, including Greenhouse Disease Management, Root Zone Management, Seedling Plug Production and Greenhouse Insect Management.

It’s also the last chance for new participants to being the program and still be able to complete all 12 production courses, all taught by experts in their fields. Participants that complete all 12 courses and pass their exams receive a professional certificate that recognizes them as greenhouse growers.
