By now you may have heard that Pantone – the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards – has announced the 2016 Color of the Year. For the first time ever, Pantone has blended two shades – Rose Quartz and Serenity – as the color of the year. According to Pantone, consumers are seeking mindfulness and well-being, and are becoming drawn to colors that psychologically fulfill their yearning for reassurance and security. Rose Qaurtz and Serenity demonstrate this balance between a warmer rose tone and a cool tranquil blue.

As a supplier of color and decor for the home and landscape, I know it is important for growers to stay on top of color trends.
