Call for speakers for 2026 Plug & Cutting Conference
Organizers of the 2026 Plug and Cutting Conference have opened a call for speaker proposals for next year’s event, which will focus on young plant production and related greenhouse propagation practices. The AmericanHort event, scheduled for fall 2026, will announce its location and dates early next year.
The conference is designed for greenhouse and nursery growers, propagation specialists, production managers and technical staff. Programming will center on peer-led education sessions and panels that address production challenges and improvements for young plants.
Organizers are seeking proposals that cover topics such as pest and disease management, nutrient management, production inputs, automation and propagation techniques. Sessions in English or Spanish will be considered.
Submissions should provide unbiased education, as organizers emphasized a no-selling policy to ensure presentations focus on practical knowledge and strategies for growers.
Session proposals must be submitted by Dec. 31.
