New locations, exhibitors announced for 2026 California Spring Trials

National Garden Bureau (NGB), manager for the California Spring Trials (CAST) registration, has announced new participants and new locations for some breeding companies.

As earlier announced, Benary is moving from Watsonville to Santa Barbara, specifically to Por la Mar Nursery at 905 S. Patterson Ave., Santa Barbara.

Global Plant Source, representing Israeli breeding and propagating companies Cohen, Hishtil, Saad Assaf and Jaldety, is moving from Watsonville to the Santa Barbara Polo Club in Carpinteria.

New to join in 2026

A new company is joining CAST this year: Walter’s Gardens, which will be located at the Santa Barbara Polo Club.

Another new participant, Express Seed Co., will be joining Danziger and ThinkPlants at the Headstart Nursery location at 4860 Monterey Road, Gilroy, California.

The 2026 event takes place March 24 to 27, a Tuesday to Friday pattern.
