The CEA Alliance added eight new member companies in the first quarter of 2026, expanding its network of growers and industry suppliers.
New members include Windmill Farms, the organization’s first mushroom grower, along with Campo Caribe, Duncan Family Farms and Edible Garden AG. The Alliance also added supplier members Blackmore/Ellepot USA, Ceres Greenhouse Solutions, Green Automation and PureNanoTech.

Tom Stenzel, executive director of the CEA Alliance, said the addition of a mushroom producer reflects broader adoption of indoor growing systems across crop categories. He said the group now represents a wider range of production, including mushrooms, vine crops, leafy greens, herbs, microgreens and berries.
Windmill Farms operates indoor facilities in Ontario and Washington and produces more than 1 million pounds of mushrooms each week. Other new grower members focus on greenhouse and controlled environment production of leafy greens, herbs and microgreens, with operations spanning Puerto Rico and multiple U.S. states.
The new supplier members provide products and services including greenhouse systems, automation technology, growing containers and irrigation solutions for controlled environment agriculture operations.
Skip Hulett, chairman of the CEA Alliance and chief legal officer of NatureSweet, said the addition of both growers and suppliers reflects continued expansion of indoor agriculture aimed at meeting demand for consistent, high-quality produce.
