International Plant Trialing Conference returns in 2025, register now

After a 10-year break, the Plant Trialing Conference will return from Oct. 13-15, 2025, offering updated insights and education.

The event will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota, which is near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

The conference kicks off with an opening reception on Monday, Oct. 13, followed by two full days of educational sessions on Oct. 14-15. Attendees can expect a variety of topics, including ornamentals, edibles, plant trialing techniques and industry trends. The event will feature both general and breakout sessions, catering to seasoned professionals and newcomers alike.

As of April 2025, educational sessions will include topics like budgeting and billing for trials, how to become a successful trial manager, breeding innovations, international trials, postharvest trials for edibles, cut flowers trials and more.

The Plant Trialing Conference was first held in the UK in 2011 and last took place in 2015 in conjunction with the Farwest Show in Portland, Oregon.
