Spring Meadow Nursery to debut 32 new shrubs

Spring Meadow Nursery will introduce 32 new Proven Winners ColorChoice shrub varieties in a YouTube Live event on Feb. 21 at noon ET. The one-hour session will highlight plants new to retail in 2025 and will be divided into four segments: evergreens and foliage interest, vines and native species, heat-tolerant shrubs and roses, hydrangeas and edibles.

The event will feature additions to the Just Chill camellia series, a fall-blooming Camellia sasanqua hybrid, and the Fairytrail series of Cascade hydrangeas, known for their draping branches with clustered blooms.

Several new selections will join the Deer Proof Plant Program, including Paisley Pup leucothoe and Sweet & Lo sarcococca, both rated as seldom damaged by deer.
