UF 2018 Poinsettia Trials Date Set
The University of Florida’s 2018 Poinsettia Industry Trials Day will take place Dec. 4, in Gainesville, Florida.
Attendees will have an opportunity to see the latest poinsettia varieties, along with UF IFAS Environmental Horticulture Department research including heat delay, controlled environment production and breeding.
There also will be a poinsettia pest management recap by Lee Bloomcamp, Syngenta as well as commercial breeder and grower presentations by Beekenkamp, Dümmen Orange, Selecta/Ball, Syngenta and American Farms
A BBQ lunch is also planned.
The trials will take place at the UF Research Greenhouse Complex, 2475 Memorial Road in Gainesville.
