During Her Downtime: Melinda enjoys crocheting, listening to true crime podcasts, weightlifting, homebrewing beer and reading historical fiction. “Developing stories based on real life events or people makes the context incredibly tangible and personal.”

What’s in a Name? The origin of her family name, Knuth, is linked with Knut the Great, one of the kings of Northern Europe during the Roman Empire era. “You could extrapolate that I’m of distant royal lineage.”
