GCA’s Fashion in Bloom, taking place Sept. 20-23, 2006, at six locations in the mid-Atlantic, will be a forum for these companies to showcase the new plants for 2007. But new plants won’t be the only thing attendees can expect to see.

“Besides new plants and good hospitality, expect to see trends in color, a flare for creativity, enthusiastic individualism and that ‘you can do it, too’ inspiration for merchandising,” says Kathy Rudnyk, specialty accounts manager for Monrovia Growers.

Clint Albin, project manager for GCA’s Fashion in Bloom, says attendees will be able to see, touch and smell the newest, most unique plant offerings from the leading plant providers in the world.

“It’s a chance for attendees to view new plants for 2007, talk one on one with industry leaders and be inspired by new garden design, merchandising and market trends,” says Albin. “It’s everything the horticultural industry needs to know to make informed buying decisions for 2007.”

GCA’s Fashion in Bloom begins Sept. 19 with Media Day at all six locations. Sept. 20-22 will focus on industry and trade, and Sept. 23 all locations will host Consumer Day. Registration for GCA’s Fashion in Bloom is now open online at www.fashioninbloom.com .
