Syngenta Announces New NamesSource: Syngenta

As part of the ongoing integration of S&G Flowers and Fischer USA, Syngenta Seeds, Inc. recently announced new names for its NAFTA Flower business, a move that echoes the “exciting changes on the horizon for these companies,” according to a Syngenta press release.

S&G Flowers will be renamed Syngenta Horticultural Services and will be a full-service broker/distributor firm tailored to meeting the needs of their professional grower customers.

As Fischer USA prepares to take on all brand and supply chain management for Syngenta, Fischer and Goldsmith licensed genetics, their name will change to Syngeta Flowers, Inc.

Current seasonal activities between S&G Flowers, Fischer USA and their respective customers will remain unchanged through March 29, 2008 (spring trial 2008 kickoff). The new names will become effective Jan. 1, 2008.
