Water Treatment Workshop Educates GrowersSource: Water Education Alliance for Horticulture

The Water Education Alliance for Horticulture is organizing a water quality and treatment workshop aimed at helping growers find the best water treatment technologies for their location, in terms of both technical and financial aspects.

During a time of unprecedented water restrictions and concerns, the workshop might be a critical step in securing your business’ profitability.

The workshop will be led by university and industry experts Paul Fisher, of the University of Florida, and Leah Granke of Michigan State University.

Scheduled for Oct. 15, the workshop will take place at the Sportel Greenhouses and Wenke Greenhouses in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Registration is free if you preregister by Oct. 8. After this date, there is a $25 registration fee. Water treatment companies are also welcome to attend. For more information, contact Anne Frances at (352) 392-4155 or e-mail watereducationalliance@gmail.com.
