Armada Gains Aster Sales RightsSource: Armada

Armada Young Plants recently announced that it had obtained worldwide exclusive sales rights of Aster varieties from De Nachtvlinder in hopes of reducing costs and optimizing trading activites, according to a press release.

There will also be close cooperation between the two companies, both based in the Netherlands, on the breeding of new aster varieties for cut-flower and pot-plant production. Breeding activities will be moved to De Nachtvlinder, and testing of the new clones and introductions will take place at Armada’s testing greenhouse. There are other testing facilities for the new varieties in South America and Africa.

Armada and its affiliates will be responsible for the sales and licensing of the varieties. The new assortment can be found on Armada Young Plants’ website.
