Ball Seed’s Customer Day, North America’s largest industry field day event, is back. This year’s event, which will take place July 30, will include presentations from industry experts and tours of the latest varieties in Ball’s expanded evaluation gardens.

“Historically, Ball Seed Customer Day has been a fun and relaxing way each summer for our special guests to connect with the people who are dedicated to making their businesses successful,” said Jan Patranella, Senior Director of Customer Relations for Ball Seed. “We’re thrilled to bring back this event, and to make it even bigger and better in 2010.”

This year, the Gardens at Ball will feature more than 3,000 varieties of plants representing 90 different breeding companies in 1,200 mixed and solo containers and beds. Ball Seed Customer Day visitors can stroll the 9 acres of annual and perennial gardens on their own, or take part in guided tours with Ball employees.

Attendees of Customer Day will also get tips to improve their business from presentations and demonstrations offered by dozens of Ball Seed industry experts and key suppliers. Learn about sales-generating programs from Ball, such as Burpee Home Gardens, Wave petunias, Simply Beautiful and BVI seed quality. There will also be new variety introductions, including Black Velvet petunia, Tropical Bronze Scarlet canna, Zahara double zinnia, and PowWow echinacea.

To register, Ball Seed customers can visit BallCustomerDay.com and get quick access to local hotel information, maps and directions. You can also contact customer relations at 800.879.BALL.
