Are You Keeping Up? By Tim Hodson

Keeping up with the latest consumer trends can be a challenge for anyone in this industry. It’s hard enough just keeping up with the plants in the greenhouse.

Especially when the trends change so fast from year to year. That’s why the Garden Media Group has been publishing an annual trends report since 2001 – to help industry professionals keep tabs on which way the wind is blowing and hopefully help them plan for the future

Well, the Pennsylvania-based PR and marketing firm just released its report for 2015 and you might just want to check it out. The report could help you make some critical decisions on what to grow and what not to grow based on what consumers plan to do and how they are willing to spend their money.

The 2015 Garden Trends Report: “Unearthing the Best Life” contains nine gardening and lifestyle trends that will influence the industry in 2015 and beyond.

Here is a sampling of some of the trends that GMG is predicting for the coming year:

* Garden-tainment
* Smoke Your Garden
* Color Pops
* Portable Gardening
* The New Consumers

If you would like to learn what these phrases mean and find out what other trends may be on the horizon for 2015, go to the Garden Media Group’s website and download the report.
