Petunia

QT is a new multiflora hybrid with medium-sized flowers and a rounded, compact growth habit. More importantly, these varieties will hold for a long period maintaining the plant habit without the use of plant growth regulators. Four colors are available: Salmon, Orange Highlight, Cherry and Pink Ice.Use a sterile, well-drained soil with a pH range of 5.5-6.2. Water thoroughly and let soil dry out between irrigations. Overwatering, oxygen deprivation and poor-drained soils may cause foliar chlorosis similar to symptoms caused by iron deficiency.Use a balanced feed at 200 ppm. Chlorotic foliage frequently results from deficiencies of iron and manganese. To avoid chlorosis, ensure that fertilizer resources contain these elements or provide supplemental forms in your fertilizer.Temperature requirement is 60-70° F days and 50-60° nights. Lighting requirement is 5,000-9,000 foot-candles. B-Nine (daminozide) may be effective to control stretch during cloudy weather, and for toning finished pots to improve shelf life.
