Farwest Show Now Accepting Applications for 2020

The 2020 Farwest Show is now accepting exhibitor booth applications as it heads into its 48th year showcasing the excellence of the green industry.

The horticultural trade show, reportedly the biggest green industry show in the West, takes place Aug. 26-28 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

“Reserving an exhibitor booth at Farwest in 2020 is some of the best business advice I can offer any grower, supplier, service provider, vendor or green industry professional working with ornamental horticulture,” said Allan Niemi, director of events for the Oregon Association of Nurseries, which produces Farwest. “We already have many companies — including several new ones — reserving their space for 2020 because last year’s trade show was such a huge success. Farwest is an efficient way to interact with a large number of retailers, growers, landscapers, suppliers, service providers and other Green Industry professionals, all in one place over just a few days.”

Farwest is reportedly expecting more than 400 exhibitors showcasing container- and field-grown trees, shrubs and plants, as well as an ever-increasing variety of new equipment, technologies, management tools, and retail merchandise. Farwest also offers a comprehensive educational program and pesticide credit- earning seminars.

In 2019, more than 5,000 attendees from 44 states and 20 countries had the opportunity to browse the New Varieties Showcase, the New Products Showcase, and the Growing Trends display that helped businesses plan for the fall and spring sales season.
