DeVroomen Garden Products is featuring two display gardens this spring at Keukenhof Gardens, including a Sesame Street collaboration centered on an Elmo mosaic.
The Sesame Street display was created to introduce younger visitors to gardening and the color impact of flowering bulbs. Elmo and Cookie Monster attended an April 18 event, where the Sesame Street-themed bulb blends were officially baptized.

DeVroomen’s main garden, located in the northwest section of Keukenhof Gardens, features a bulb blend designed to provide 7 weeks of blooms. The planting starts with early spring bulbs and transitions into mid- and late-season tulips, daffodils and allium. The display includes soft pastels and a broader mix of colors intended to extend visual interest throughout the season.
“We are honored to share our gardens with visitors from across the globe and to be part of an event that celebrates the beauty and impact of flowering bulbs,” said Angela Schultz, general manager, DeVroomen Garden Products.
Keukenhof opened to the public in 1950 and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
