Indoor Ag-Con partners for aquaponics pre-conference workshop

Indoor Ag-Con is partnering with the Aquaponics Association to host a full-day pre-conference workshop on aquaponics on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

Titled “Rooted in Water, Fueled by Fish: Advancing Hydroponics Through Aquaponics,” the session is scheduled just ahead of the 13th Annual Indoor Ag-Con, set for Feb. 11 to 12, 2026. The workshop aims to show how integrating fish and plants in a closed-loop ecosystem can build on hydroponic production to increase yield, improve resource efficiency, and boost profitability.

There is a fee to register, which includes lunch and an Indoor Ag-Con Expo Only pass. Discounts are available for those bundling the workshop with a full conference pass.

“The Aquaponics Association does incredible work promoting aquaponics and supporting growers. We’re thrilled to have them lead this workshop and share their expertise with our audience,” said Brian Sullivan, CEO, Indoor Ag-Con.

Speakers include Josh Dusci, Indoor Agriculture Associate at Virginia State University and coordinator of the Aquaponics Association; Janelle Hager, Aquaponic State Specialist at Kentucky State University; and Molly Stanek, executive director of the Aquaponics Association and CEO of EcoAgTech. Topics will cover system mechanics, research insights, integration strategies, and case studies highlighting ROI and scalability.

Indoor Ag-Con 2026 will follow with an expo floor, nine sector-specific conference tracks, keynote presentations, networking events, and the CEAs Awards program recognizing achievements in controlled environment agriculture.
