Meet the Class of 2017 By Tim Hodson

Our industry is made up of a fascinating network of individuals!

This intricate and diverse network of people helps define what our industry is all about.

Every May for the past five years, GPN has been introducing you to 40 young professionals who make up a small portion of that network. We highlight some of the industry’s rising all stars who are and will be making a big difference in the future of horticulture.  These men and women are members of GPN’s 40 Under 40.

Today, I’d like to introduce you to the Class of 2017!

Our sixth class is comprised of 40 emerging stars who are shining bright in their careers as well as their personal lives. These down-to-earth superstars represent the next generation of horticulture.

Each one of them was nominated by one or more of their peers for the contributions they have made to their companies, customers and communities … so far. Remember, they are all under the age of 40 and all still have very long careers ahead of them.

They will be making many more contributions in the years to come. You can definitely count on that!

Any day now, you should be receiving your May issue of GPN in mail. In the meantime, here is the link to the digital edition where you can learn about the Class of 2017 and what makes them tick.

Just as an FYI, if you think you know someone that should be in GPN’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2018, we will begin accepting nominations on our website in November. I’ll let you know exactly when in a future edition of GPN Weekly.

Meet the Class of 2017!
