H2A Webinar Now Available on Video By Tim Hodson

If you missed the recent “H-2A 101” webinar presented by the National Council of Agricultural Employers (NCAE), you’re in luck. The webinar is now available on video.

The webinar reviewed the obligations for users of the H-2A temporary agricultural worker program, described the application process and discussed the best practices for employers.

It was hosted by Tom Bortnyk, vice president and general counsel for MAS Labor. Attendees who participated in the live webinar had the opportunity to ask Bortnyk questions about the program at the end of his presentation.

Due to high demand and critical response, NCAE decided to share “H-2A 101” with a broader audience. “The feedback we received was so positive, we wanted to give access to the webinar for those who couldn’t participate in the sold out event,” said Nigel Bocanegra, manager of Association Services.

A YouTube video of the webinar is now available for those who could not participate live. The video can be accessed by contacting Nigel Bocanegra at Nigel@ncaeonline.org.

The first solar gardens have completed construction and the remainder are targeted to be online by the first half of 2020. Community solar in Minnesota allows businesses, public entities and residents to subscribe to an offsite solar garden without having to site solar directly on their property.
