Sponsors Join National Garden Month 2005Source: National Gardening Association

The National Gardening Association (NGA) recently announced the sponsors of National Garden Month 2005. Miracle-Gro Nursery Select, Hilton Garden Inn, Subaru Of America, Inc., Black & Decker and Proven Winners signed up to support the celebrated month to garden.

In cooperation with these sponsors, NGA has chosen “Give A Garden – Add Beauty to Life” as this year’s theme for April 2005 National Garden Month. This call to action invites children and parents, students and teachers, companies and their employees to plant a container garden and pass it on. With support from socially responsible garden centers, schools and companies that believe in the mission of bringing people and plants together, “Give A Garden – Add Beauty to Life” during National Garden Month April 2005 will spark a revolution in garden giving. Garden centers will be hosting “Give A Garden – Add Beauty to Life” workshops for families, offering supplies with “how-to” instructions to personalize your very own container garden for giving. Classrooms across the country will be participating in garden-sharing activities. Companies will donate staff time to give gardens in their communities.
